Request for Expression of Interest Government of Nepal Ministry of Infrastructure Development Department of Local Infrastructure Development Trail Bridge Section Shreemahal, Pulchowk, Lalitpur Date: 15th October 2026 Name of Project: Procurement of Third Party Inspector for Steel Wire Ropes 1. Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated fund towards the cost of Procurement of Third Party Inspector for Steel Wire Ropes and intends to apply a portion of this fund to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Expression of Interest is invited for National consulting service. 2. The Trail Bridge Section, DoLID now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Individual consultant (“consultant”) to provide the following consulting services: Inspection of 361 reels of Steel Wire ropes of different sizes. 3. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information and EOI document free of cost at the Trail Bridge Section, DoLID, Shreemahal, Pulchowk, Lalitpur during office hours on or before 2nd November 2026 or visit the client’s website https://doli.gov.np. 4. Expressions of interest shall be delivered manually to the Trail Bridge Section, DoLID, Shreemahal, Pulchowk, Lalitpur on or before 3rd November 2026 on or before 12:00 noon. 5. In case the last date of obtaining and submission of the EoI documents happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date but the time will be the same as stipulated. 6. EoI will be assessed based on Qualification 40% and Experience 60% of the consultant. Based on evaluation of EoI, only shortlisted individual consultant will be invited to submit technical and financial proposal through a request for proposal. 7. The selection shall be done on quality and Cost-based selection method: Technical 80% and Financial 20%. 8. The minimum score to pass the EoI is 70.
